From Within: Rae VS. Tekyasi

Forged in the fires of martial arts training, two childhood friends are now pitted against each other. Fueled by a lifelong envy, one seeks to finally surpass his rival, while the other grapples with the agonizing choice between loyalty and the bonds of their shared past.
Brought to life by a group of WMU alumni and featuring local martial arts masters, the film marks the debut of director Justice Bomer and our studio. This passion project, two years in the making, aims to showcase the unique vision of Prod. J Entertainment and set the bar for the new age of independent cinema.
Cast
Caitlin & Hunter are local Taekwondo artists who have both practiced the discipline for over 10 years.
Hunter practiced theater throughout high school and is a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo, whilst Caitlin is a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo, and a 2nd degree in Gongkwon & Hapkido.

A WMU Alumnus in film & and video, Justice wrote this film in 2021, and he and his partner Andrew began filming straight out of college.
Making his directorial debut with this project, Justice has worked on smaller projects and sketches, as well as being a full-time digital marketer with WMU and local Kalamazoo businesses.
For the premiere of the film in early 2025, he decided to create a bigger event showcasing other artists alongside Prod. J in Kalamazoo. He created and became the host of the CineCase 2025 Film Festival, with the goal of hosting several festivals each year.
Though his love is for sci-fi, he plans to create films in all sort of genres. With projects in horror, thriller, and noir on the horizon.
